FGTA Committees

Trail Development and Maintenance Committee
The Trail Maintenance and Development Committee shall be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the trail system and shall make recommendations to the Board of Directors in this regard. The Committee shall undertake such actions as the Board determines are in the best interests of the organization and make a report on same as required.

Community Outreach Committee
The Community Outreach Committee shall develop programs and projects to enhance the community’s use and appreciation of the trail system and shall make recommendations to the Board of Directors in this regard. The Committee shall undertake such actions as the Board determines are in the best interests of the organization and make a report on same as required.

Fundraising Committee
The Fundraising Committee shall develop a program of fundraising events and activities and make recommendations to the Board of Directors in this regard. The Committee shall undertake such actions as the Board determines are in the organizations best interests and make a report on same as required.

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee shall be responsible for the solicitation of memberships and shall make recommendations to the Board of Directors in this regard.The Committee shall undertake such actions as the Board determines are in the best interests of the organization and make a report on same as required.

Program Committee
The Program Committee shall develop programs of an educational nature to encourage and enhance environmental awareness and activities on the trail system, and shall make recommendations to the Board of Directors in this regard. The Committee shall undertake such actions as the Board determines are in the best interests of the organization and make a report on same as required.

Budget Committee
The Budget Committee shall review and report to the Board of Directors the financial position of the organization from time to time. The Committee shall make recommendations in regard to the organization’s ability to support the initiatives of the other Committee’s programs or projects.
